DMCA Policy
Cool Mate ("we", "us", or "our") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA") and other applicable laws, we will respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the requirements set out below.
1. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that any content or material available through our Service infringes a copyright you own or control, you may submit a written takedown notice to our designated agent. Your notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including sufficient information for us to locate it (e.g. a URL or screenshot)
- Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner

Please use “DMCA Takedown Notice” as the subject line to help us process your request promptly.
3. Counter-Notification
If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated agent. Your counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location at which it appeared before it was removed or disabled
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in London, United Kingdom, and will accept service of process from the person who provided the original takedown notice
4. Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, we maintain a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion.
5. Good Faith & Misrepresentation
Please be aware that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake, may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and legal fees.
