At Cool Mate, we strive to make language learning accessible to everyone. We are committed to continuously improving the accessibility of our app and ensuring all users can enjoy a great learning experience regardless of their abilities.

Supported Accessibility Features

Our iOS app currently supports the following accessibility features:

• VoiceOver: All interactive elements are labeled with descriptive accessibility labels, allowing VoiceOver users to navigate through the app and complete all core tasks including browsing collections, watching video challenges, and reviewing vocabulary.
• Voice Control: All buttons, inputs, and interactive elements are identified with accessibility labels, enabling full Voice Control navigation throughout the app.
• Reduced Motion: The app respects the system Reduce Motion setting. When enabled, decorative animations (transitions, shimmer effects, Lottie animations, and spring feedback) are disabled or minimized while keeping the app fully functional.
• Dark Mode: Full support for both light and dark appearance modes. The app automatically follows your system preference and provides appropriate contrast in both themes.

Our Commitment

We try our best to provide as many accessibility features as possible and are actively working to expand our support. Upcoming areas of focus include Dynamic Type support for larger text sizes, improved contrast ratios, and caption support for video content.
