Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Cool Mate account at any time. This page explains what happens when you delete your account and how to request deletion.

What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:

• Your account information (name, email, profile photo)
• Authentication tokens and session data
• Learning progress and review history stored on our servers
• User preferences (language settings, notification preferences)
• Push notification tokens
• Support ticket history

What Stays on Your Device

Any data stored locally on your device (such as cached content or offline learning progress) remains until you uninstall the app. Deleting your account does not automatically remove the app or its local data from your device.

Important: Cancel Your Subscription First

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Please cancel your subscription through your device Settings before deleting your account to avoid further charges:

• Google Play:Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions
• Apple App Store:Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: From the App

Open Cool Mate > Profile > Delete Account > confirm deletion.

Option 2: By Email

If you no longer have access to the app, send an email to yoCoolMate+support@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line “Account Deletion Request”. We will verify your identity and process the deletion.

Processing Timeline

In-app deletions are processed immediately. Email requests are processed within 30 days. All associated data is purged from our servers within 30 days of the deletion request.

Can I Recover My Account?

No. Once your account is deleted, there is no way to recover it. You would need to create a new account and start from scratch. Please make sure you want to proceed before confirming deletion.
